Today we made up two different styles of door casing.  Both VERY similar…and both very simple.  I really love the look of an old farmhouse and I think either of these would work.

Straight cut even with the sides.

or straight cut that overhangs about 3/4″ on each side.
We think we like the top (even with both sides) the most.
To be honest though….we don’t really love either of them.  Ugh!
We’ll take a few days to look at them both and see what we decide.
Does anyone else find it this hard to make decisions?
